Per Martin Nylund is an artist who mainly works with pen and ink… I sort of think his art looks like a mix of Picasso and Fredrik Stabel.

I was asked to help turn his drawings into a book. Essentially, all his drawings were hanging framed on a wall, so they were taken pictures of. The pictures were then sent to me so I could clean them up in Clip Studio Paint – correcting angles and making brightness/contrast adjustments, that sort of thing, to get them ready for print. I then put the edited pictures together in InDesign to design the pages, and finally turned the entire thing into a PDF that could then be sent off to print.

Some time later, I got to see and take pictures of the printed book.

It was a really fun assignment, and I thought it came out pretty well.
