Dovreslubben og Raskeladden, or Eventyret om Dovreslubben og Raskeladden (“The Story of Dovreslubben and Raskeladden”) if we’re being formal, is project at FunkSoft; a mobile game to promote Skikes.

The game’s plot, a sort of parody of Norwegian fairy tales, was developed by myself, Jonathan Reppen and Tobias André Hansen. Jonathan made the original story pitch, and then the three of us had a few brainstorming sessions where we developed the actual story. Tobias made a story summary and a rudimentary four-panel storyboard, which I expanded upon, adding details, story beats and dialogue. Finally, I drew the finished, three-page storyboard you can read here.

(Keep in mind that the storyboard is in Norwegian, because Funksoft only makes games in Norwegian. I also wrote and drew this before the character designs and names were solidified, hence Dovreslubben is still called “Dovregubben” in the storyboard.)
