I should probably explain the backstory for this particular drawing.

The 7D was a cartoon show that ran from 2014-2016, and was a new take on, or possibly intended to be the descendants of, the seven dwarfs from Disney’s original Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The dwarfs had the same names and roughly the same personalities (except for Doc, who had gone from “brusque, somewhat confused leader” to “genius inventor”), but they had more distinct looks and clothes, and instead of being humble miners who kindly took in runaway princesses, they were humble miners who were also agents for the Queen of Jollywood, whose job was to defend the kingdom of Jollywood from all sorts of dangers.

The cartoon was actually really good, and I enjoyed this take on the dwarfs, but I never really gelled with the art style, which was… pretty standard simplified 2010s cartoon designed for Flash. (The show was actually traditionally animated, but it was supposed to be done in Flash, and the pilot is animated in Flash.) I began wondering what the 7D might have looked like if you kept the general designs but drew them in the style of the classic animated movie.

This was what I came up with!
